When we first started on the venture to create a pocket trauma kit we naturally wanted to include everything possible to make it the most effective at saving lives. So we gathered everything up that we wanted to include, neatly organized it into our chosen pouch and went to test it. The result was a kit that was great at saving lives but was way too uncomfortable to Every Day Carry (EDC). That is the thing with EDC products, things must be comfortable enough to carry otherwise they will just end up being left at home where they are of no use to anybody.
What we found when researching other so called Pocket Trauma Kits on the market was that they all had good medical components, but you could not throw them in your back pocket and hop in the car to drive to the store because they were so bulky and uncomfortable. What a pain in the Ass to have to take it in and out of your pocket everytime you sit down. And God forbid you go sit down at a restaurant or the movies then you have to take the kit out of your pocket and sit with it between your legs for the next two hours.
So we were forced with a decision, make a fully loaded kit that nobody would actually EDC or eliminate components and build a kit that could save a life.
After months of testing and adjustments we finally came up with the right mix that we found to be comfortable to carry everyday, everywhere. The EDC Pocket Trauma Kit is useful in your daily life (First Aid Components) and useful on the worst day of your life.
